Great work! So waiting a continue. But you will face with one problem with VPLS between CE8 and CE6 via RR connection. It seems Mikrotik has a bug with it. Traffic will go only trough RR

Haa thats what ATT use when deliver fiber to an office, they add a box after the fiber to ethernet connection or sometimes before, and i was puzzled why! if you can go direct from the fiber to your inhouse router.

how come Juniper is capable to provide the way of the vlan so from the MikroTik you can use with vlan tag- stacking and without. Imagine if you have MikroTik instead of Juniper, you wouldn't be able to do that.

Great video, got me up & running with my VLANS and a quick understanding and a good solid headhold around it being new to Mikrotik. Nice that this is also up to date on the interface as of now.

Hello Mr Berg and everyone, i just tested the lab made from scratch, with version 7.6 i had a problem after setting up the L3VPN, the new routes (dy) they was appiring and disappiring every few seconds, ping also failed, i double checked the config on all devices, everything was fine, then I used version 7.13 (with eveng) and its working perfectly! i used "role=ibgp-rr-client" from begining, i saw the comment referring to that. I enjoyed that introduction. I don’t own a Milrotik, but I do enjoy learning how different switches and routers work, and have been considering some of their smaller 100G switches for my Homelab just for the hell of it snd to see if I can push my hardware.

I've also done the same thing as you for Destination redirection till morning it is working but now any port entry is not working scenario is I've a public router ip that I want to route to my internally located server pc. on NAT rule page I want port 5050 to routed on internally located pc 192.168.2.100 on port 80 But when I check for port 5050 it show the port is close

rOS 7.15.1 - followed instructions until 6:50 mark, but unable to ping the 10.0.0.2 address (while 10.0.0.1 works). I'm wondering if they changed something else again. Nevertheless, once the container was started, it became pingable!

I was considering doing the MTCNA certification, but the only contact I had that could possibly lead to the exam said I have to part with 650 USD and that the training was mandatory. What other alternatives could I explore because I really feel that's quite expensive... and I know it's not mandatory to undergo training if you feel well grounded with the principles.

Thank you so much for this great tutorial. I have a question regarding my setup. I have a MikroTik router with two PPPoE connections and I'm using PCC for load balancing. I want to use WireGuard on this router to make it the main server. My goal is to achieve a site-to-site VPN where, for example, when a client server (like another MikroTik router) connects, it can utilize both PPPoE connections' upload speeds simultaneously. I've heard this might not be possible. Is that correct? Please let me know. Thank you in advance!
